The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) is accepting applications for the State Organics Lead position, which is located in the Waste 2 Resources Program at Ecology’s Headquarters office in Lacey, Washington.  This position serves as the Organics Lead for the program and the statewide expert responsible for implementing the State Solid and Hazardous Waste Plan (Beyond Waste) Organics initiative for composting and organics recycling, using knowledge and principles of soil and compost science.

Persons with experience in composting and organics waste management are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a current Washington State Application on-file and respond to the Supplemental Questionnaire in the announcement.
