Release of Vendor RFP for Website Design
The Composting Council Research and Education Foundation (Foundation) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to identify one or more qualified vendors to design and develop a new website tool that effectively presents compostable plastic resources to a municipal audience.
The website toolkit is a key deliverable for a national grant, and the web tools will be posted at the US Composting Council website at www.compostfoundation.org. All of the content materials, as well as some user survey data have been collected by the planning team, and will be provided to the successful consultant. A sample table that includes the types of resources that will be included in the toolbox, as well as a short summary of the survey data and the successful grant application are posted with the RFP as available resource documents for the grant proposal submission.
The successful designer will develop site architecture and navigational tools that will facilitate ease of use for municipal staff throughout the US, who are both well informed about compostable plastics, as well as those who will need support in determining the resources that they might need. The designer will be supported by the grant steering committee, as well as the Foundation’s webmaster, who will post all of the documents within the site design, and receive any training needed to maintain the site after design.
